80/35 Event Promotion

In 2008, The Des Moines Music Coalition announced plans to launch a huge-tastic music festival. Because the fest was scheduled for the sweltering 4th of July weekend, we knew 80/35 would be a cool summer treat for Iowans experiencing an event drought.

 

Our cool summer treat campaign hit the spot. The bright, ultra sweet, ubersilly (and yet still edgy) graphics created refreshing buzz for the event that rocked the entire city.

 

The DMMC expected 10,000 to attend the fest. And, after the final encore, it was reported that 30,000 people from 22 states were in attendance. Hip-hop hooray.
